Yamaha Announces Make Mo Music Contest Winners
Buena Park, CA (September 19, 2006) – Yamaha Corporation of America has announced the winners of a contest
held during this summer’s Make Mo Music Tour. The national tour featured the Yamaha Motif ES synthesizer,
the new MO Series synthesizers, and advanced computer integration with Steinberg's Cubase Music Production
Software and Arturia software products.
Daniel Blue of Renton, Washington was the winner of the Grand Prize, which included a Yamaha MotifES6, a pair of HS50
Powered Monitors, a Cubase LE to SX upgrade (LE is free with the Motif), an Arturia ARP2600 V, and an IK Multimedia
Software bundle. Mr. Blue was presented with his prize package by Yamaha Product specialist Blake Angelos and Cliff
Barnes, a sales associate at the Guitar Center in Tukwila, Washington.
The winner of the Second Prize, which consisted of a Yamaha MW12 USB Mixer, a Cubase LE to SX upgrade (LE is free
with the MW12), and an IK Multimedia Software bundle, was Michelle Gooding of Marlboro, Maryland. Michelle attended
the tour stop at the Guitar Center in Rockville, MD.
Third Prize winners included John Deadrick of Nashville, TN, Davyod Howard of Chandler, AZ, Peter Jun of Seattle, WA,
and Roland Bland of Virginia Beach, VA. Each of the third prize winners received Steinberg Cubase SE3, a CME Matrix Y
Headphone Amplifier, a Steinberg Virtual Instrument Collection, and a Frontier Tranzport.
