Ajman Radio Adopts Blue Mice
Westlake Village, CA (June 14, 2006) - NMK Electronics, the distributor of Blue Microphones in the United Arab
Emirates, have recently supplied Ajman-based broadcasters Ajman Independent Studios with two Blue Mouse
microphones for their studio facilities.
Ajman Independent Studios (AIS) currently operate the TV channel Ajman TV Channel 4 and three radio stations, which
include Channel 4 FM 104.8, an English format station, Indian language radio station 89.1, and Arabic music station 107.8
in the United Arab Emirates .
After NMK’s successful launch of the Blue Microphone range at the 2006 Middle East International Cable, Satellite,
Broadcast & Communications Exhibition (CASBAT), AIS tested and subsequently purchase two Mouse microphones.
“Ajman Radio’s studio engineer approached us at CABSAT and were interested in new on-air microphones, so we let them
actually try the Mouse live,” said Romeo Dela Torre, Sales Executive at NMK. “The results of the test were successful as
expected and we look forward to increasing awareness of the brand and its products with the studio and broadcast market.”
With boosts in the upper and lower frequencies and a strong presence, the Mouse’s larger-than-life sound is perfectly
suited for broadcast and voiceover work. Its unique design is small and unobtrusive in the studio while its rotating spherical
grille allows precise positioning and adjustment.
